Glory is a ring of light seen round the head of one’s own shadow cast at a time when the person stands with his back to the Sun and looks down from higher ground on to a lower bank of fog or cloud. The shadow is then called a “broken spectre”.


Where Do You See Midnight Sun???

Midnight Sun??? You might be thinking I am gonna maid, then read below…

Midnight Sun is the phenomenon observed in latitudes higher than 66 1/2 degree N and S where the sun does not sink below the horizon throughout the 24 hours and therefore, may be seen at midnight. The period in the northern hemisphere is in Summer, mid-May to the end of July and in Winter in the Southern hemisphere between mid-November and end of January.
